New equipment for the largest Brazilian silicon metal producer and the fourth largest in the world. Silicon is used in the metallurgical, chemical, electronics and photovoltaic industries.

The silicon is manufactured in an electric submerged arc furnace, using high purity quartz, 100% from Brazilian deposits, reforestation charcoal and special pre-baked carbon electrodes.

It is an environmentally correct product, because it uses charcoal produced in the customer´s own forest units, whose reforestation is carried out continuously.
