The fines generated in the conveying and movement of charcoal or coke can be harnessed in blast furnace fines injection systems in the steel mills, resulting in complete utilization of the fuel for melting iron ore.

Some companies use the process quite efficiently.

Most Brazilian steel mills use the system.

And to control the quality of the injected material, it must be precisely sieved. Again Arcelor-CST has purchased another Vibrapen coal-fines screener, delivered in June 2019. A good choice, many since 1988.
