Brazil has been hit hard by the Corona crisis.
By June 2020, around 60,000 people had died of it.
The drop in orders for new machines is catastrophic. Latin America is probably the most affected worldwide.
Mavi has so far managed to avoid layoffs starting now with reduced working hours for part of the staff and more aggressive sales tactics with better discounts and terms of payment.
Keeping the staff had a very positive effect on the workforce and even with the future reduction, the delivery times are being kept.
But the outlook is still bleak. Since this is a global crisis, the export activity for our machines will probably suffer.
In summary: wait and see, that seems to be the method.
