For a charcoal processing plant in northern Brazil, Mavi has developed a special screw conveyor.

The 600 mm wide and 5.000 mm long screw conveyor Rothaube will manage to feed 50 m3/h of up to 6 mm reforestation derived charcoal, charging a small blast furnace.

In fact the charcoal will be conveyed to a charcoal dryer which receiveing hot blast furnace gas will reduce moisture to optimize the metalurgical process.
