Largest plastic pellets screener from Mavi for Braskem delivered in Oct. 2004

The largest plastic pellets screener ever buid by Mavi was delivered to Braskem in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil on October 2004. The 2.000 mm wide and 7.000 mm long natural frequency screener, weighing 12 tonnes, made of AISI 304 stainless steel, is said to be Latin America´s largest.

In full operation it will receive 40 tonnes per hour plastic pellets, separating "spaguettis" and fines from pellets.

This aprox. US$ 100.000 equipment with natural frequency tuning is driven by a very small motor, with great economy. With this unit Mavi´s experience once again positions its line of screeners as Latin America´s most complete and up-to-date, with more than 6.500 units operating since 1961.

4 Special inspection openings with movable covers are a must to have a complete look as the material is screened.
