Mavi has shipped to the Hahn-Ferrabraz foundry in Rio Grande do Sul , Brazil as well as to Tecumseh, a major silent compressors manufacturer in São Carlos, Brazil , new complete foundry sand cooling systems, according to the fluid-bed technology.

This is a major breakthrough in cooling technology since 1974, when introduced by Mavi.

The heart of the installations is the vibratory fluid-bed cooler from Mavi, its misting system and controlled air supply, allowing in both cases a temperature drop of 100 to 40 Celsius with inputs up to 100 t/h.
