Since 1982 Arcelor/CST in Vitória, Brazil , has settled for Elmavi electromagnetic vibratory feeders from Mavi for the charging operations of the steel converters. Recently a new converter has been purchased from SMS-Demag and again CST has settled for Elmavi feeders from Mavi.

Over 2.800 feeders are now in operation all over Latin America, placing Mavi as the number one manufacturer of vibratory equipment in this region.

The new converter is scheduled to start operations at the beginning of 2006. The charging equipment is a Kuttner do Brasil engineering contract, a company which traditionally chooses or recommends Mavi feeders and conveyors in a joint effort since 1974.
