Tereos Group chooses modern Mavi Revitran sugar conveyors for its Usina Guarani works

The large French based group has adquired a set of Revitran conveyors for up to 150 t/h raw sugar, now installed and running at its Usina Guarani plant in São Paulo, Brazil.

These stainless-steel lined conveyors are rapidly becoming a standard among Latin American sugar producers, as they replace older similar machines, with very intense maintenance.

Mavi´s Revitran conveyors are build based on the commonly known resonance principle or natural frequency tuning. The principle allows some great economy regarding input power, reducing costs.

The sturdy construction is of great importance, as sugar works run 24 hours during the crop season, for up to 10 month during the year. Many conveyors of these types handle up to 1.2 million tons or raw sugar in one season.
