Well, time to pile it up...

A recent surge in orders has created an interesting problem at Mavi. Serious lack of space.

The creative solution to this unique question was beautifully mastered by our people dealing with the manufacturing. They decided that to look for storage space was a long and unfruitful task. So they decided to pile the machines up, between the different stages of manufacturing.

After 27 years at the Barra Funda district in São Paulo this is a problem to be solved in the coming future: the search for a larger area.

1 The ventilating hoods for a 22.000 mm castings cooler for Romi awaiting assembly.
2 A "heap" of E-4600 vibratory cells, at 800 Kg unit weight awaiting to be assembled on heavy-duty screeners and feeders for Ferrostaal.
3 While not ready for sand blasting, discharge chutes for large feeders piled up, rather occupying volume than area.
4 Piled up 2000 x 2000 mm feeder bodies, waiting to be transported to the sand blasting and painting operation.
5 30 and 40 HP electric motors for large screeners and feeders piled up in one access corridor. Hopefully the Department of Work will not send its inspectors...
