Moreno Foundry in Sertãozinho now operating two new furnace charging feeders from Mavi

Since February, the large A Fundição Moreno in São Paulo State is operating to its fully satisfaction two new 100 t/h furnace charging feeders, fully automated.

The units were assembled in record time for Moreno to deliver its traditionally high quality castings, mainly for the sugar industry .

Founded in1962 as Fundição São Jorge by Mr. Gentil Moreno, the company began manufacturing iron and bronze castings intended for the sugar and alcohol industry.

With investments in technology, equipment and skilled labor, the company expanded and its name was changed to Moreno Equipamentos Pesados Ltda. in 1971.

With the acquisition of modern induction and heat tratment furnaces, as well as investiments in quality control, the company started producing steel castings for diverse market segments, as: Crushing Operations, Plastic and Aluminum Dies, Machine tools, etc., and parts for the Sugar and Alcohol Market.
