In May 2005 one of our oldest customers has sent us one Vimot E-10-6/V vertical vibrator, delivered in 1970 with a Mavi Rotopen screener, for repairs.

As we couldn´t make out if it underwent any other repair we asked the chief maintenance engineer for that company who stated that it never happened in the past, and this was the first time.

After disassembling the unit we noticed that the original wiring was burned and also one of the original (!) bearings had a broken cage. We therefore asked the customer if he would be interested in a new unit but they were not , asking only to have the vibrator repaired and shipped back as soon as possible.

Maybe it may run for another 35 years....
