Lhoist do Brasil, a member of Lhoist Belgium, has ordered a set of heavy-duty mechanical and electromagnetic vibratory feeders from Mavi, model Elmavi and Vica-A.

These feeders are to be used at Arcelor´s CST plant in Vitória , Brazil in its new calcining plant, feeding and metering limestone and related products.

Lhoist chose Mavi for its reputation and reliability regarding this kind of equipment, leading the Latin American market since 1961 with supplies to all major steel plants in the area.

Lhoist enters Brazil through the acquisition of the Group Votorantim´s lime division (Cal-Itaú) comprising 4 plants in Minas Gerais state (São José da Lapa, Matozinhos, Arcos and Limeira).
