VM, as the company is known in Brazil has ordered in 2005 a set of four giant 3.000 x 7.000 mm 40 kW pre-screeners to remove large pieces of charcoal originated from VM´s reforestation project.

VM is the world leader in seamless steel tubes production and environmentaly conscious has chosen to use wood charcoal from its large reforestation project to feed its blast furnaces.

The set of screeners was shipped in December 2005 and is expected to go into operation in April 2006.
