In February 2006., Mavi has delivered to Arcelor steel works (former Belgomineira) in Juiz de Fora, State of Minas Gerais, a set of 4 heavy duty Velopen screeners for iron ore.

These machines are driven by extra sturdy E-4600 vibratory cells and three phase motors 30 kW each. The drives are dimensioned to last at least 60.000 bearing hours without replacement. High quality syntetic oil to keep the gearing and bearings hassle free has been chosen.

These machines are simple to maintain as the drive is easly detachable and replaced by another, keeping downtime to a minimum. Mavi builds vibratory screeners since 1961 and are undoubtedly the leaders in Latin America for screening equipment..
