Reforestation charcoal residues screening plant- Largest ever.

For one major steel producer in Brazil, Mavi has delivered a set of heavy duty screening machines Velopen type.

The plant located in the state of Minas Gerais is now running and up to 200 m3/h per screener of charcoal residues are prepared in order to feed blast furnaces.

The pre-screeners are the largest ever build for this purpose, 3.000 mm x 7.000 mm. A set of six triple-decker 1.440 x 4400 mm screeners are also part of the system as well as a set of seven vibratory feeders Vical-a type,

The company is a Mavi customer since 1961 and operates over 100 hundred Mavi vibratory machines..

1 The Velopen screened charcoal is stored in gigantic silos.
2 Vical-A feeders under the pre-screeners convey the charcoal to the main belt conveyor.
3 Velopen triple decker classifies the charcoal in four distinctive sizes, from 25,4 to 3,18 mm
4 The 3.000 x 7.000 mm pre-screeners receive the load directly from dumper trucks, removing parts larger than 100 mm.
