A road in Bolivia for very, very , very skilled drivers...

Paved roads are not common in Andean countries, the construction and costs are a complicated and expensive task.

Many governments, federal, state or municipal just do a little maintenance but safe driving is not always ensured.

One extreme example is this mountain road stretch in Bolivia. The details are horrendous but the truckers manage it. Most of them arrive, safe and well, thanks to their special skills.

Probably the best truck drivers in the world.

1 When two trucks cross, special care is needed. A foot to the driver´s left and a 1000 feet down he´ll meet his destiny.
2 Do not expect this road to be empty...
3 Not very large... and unpaved.
4 In dense fog the bus passenger´s view. A little scary...
