San Miguel Sugar Works of Mexico ordered and received their first Vibrapen screener

Mavi Vibrapen screeners are becoming a standard among sugar works the world over. Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Nigeria and Panama are operating these units for decades now.

The world largest sugar producer, Brazil, is probably the country where every major sugar factory operates Vibrapen screeners, here known as "the Mavies".

Even competitors offer their equipment under this nomenclature. Anyway, Vibrapens are a succesful modification of heavy duty foundry sand screeners of German origin, which adapted marvelously to the sweet but hard and abrasive sugar crystals..
