Unical´s new limestone silos fed with Revitran conveyor screeners.

For the feeding and simultaneous classifying of limestone in great silos, Mavi has developep a special system consisting of three Revitran conveyors equipped with screen decks.

Unical one of Brazil´s largest limestone processors has put the new system into operation in 2009 and the results are as expected, in fact even better. The huge silos are heavy enough to absorb all but some 1% residual vibration transmitted by the conveyors. A little more actually, because through a tuneable rubber mounts liquid filling combination the residual vibration is far below the norm.

Every conveyor-screener has a different mesh size, so every silo has its type of limestone. Driven by the natural frequency system the power input is kept to a minimum. Additional tuning by frequency inverter is possible in order to increase output if necessary.

3 One conveyor feeds material onto the next, total of four. Intermediate spouts discharge coarse, regular or fine materials into the silos. No rotating parts in the material stream, components last longer.
