Aperam awards Mavi special supplier trophy
Mavi Máquinas Vibratórias Ltda. was appointed and rewarded by Aperam from the Mittal Group with its PQF Quality Award for the supplying and start-up of a set of heavy charcoal screeners, the largest ever build in Latin America.
Project master Antonio de Moura, with Mavi since 1978 was chosen to receive the award, on Nov. 23, 2011.
Mr. de Moura is Latin America´s nr. 1 specialist for heavy duty screeners in the steel and fertilizer´s raw material industry, having developed many new procedures, including the "dynamic on-site start up system", introducing the equipment to operators, and following all the maintenance procedures, therefore reducing downtime to a minimum.
