Continuous 24 hours operation since February 2000

This month June 2012 we received from Tupy S/A, a giant automotive foundry in Southern Brazil, an E-4600 vibratory cell (excentric drive) which according to that company has been operating without repairs since the year 2000, around 24 hours a day for 300 days a year, average.

After disassembled we observed only the bearings had problems, but dimensioned for a 5 years continuous running job achieving solid 12 years, quite a surprise.

Mavi has around 500 E-4600 cells in operation all over Brazil alone. Mainly for heavy screeners, sand coolers in foundries and shake-outs, as well as ultra-heavy feeders for up to 1.500 t/h in steel works and oil refineries.

The E-4600 cell is now known internally as The Drive.
