Revitran conveyors, 2.650 metres supplied

Revitran natural resonant frequency conveyors from Mavi have now reached the 2.650 metres mark. Since 1982 most Latin American sugar works adopted the system for the conveying of wet and dry sugar, coarse or fine, to feed screeners or under centrifuges, were instant capacities may reach up to 200 t/h wet sugar and 1.500 mm large Revitrans are needed.

Units as long as 28 metres individual lenght have been supplied.

Over 300 companies, mainly in Brazil are working with Revitran conveyors. Not just for their reliability (Raizen´s Usina da Barra in Barra Bonita, São Paulo runs them continuously since 1982, some 20 hours a day) but also for Mavi´s technical assistance concept, based on fast reply to customers waiting for help. During the crop sugar works  run 24 hours, a stalled equipment may turn into a huge problem.

So our teams fly and drive many miles all over Latin America, the Caribbean and even Africa to keep Revitran conveyors running for the customer´s satisfaction.

The new special welding procedures with a specific vibration proof tested wire and gas MIG/MAG system has practically extinguished fatigue cracks which sometimes appeared on these machines.
New high temperature connecting rods with ISO DIN 17 223 helical springs are a must for this new faster running Revitran conveyors, with speeds up to 35 cm/s.
The high precision machining of these fixing discs made of cast ASTM A-36 steel garantees the perfect alignment of the many helical springs needed in these machines.
Only possible with a CNC machining center at Mavi.
One large Revitran conveyors needs sometimes over 200 helical steel springs. Made to Mavi´s specifications and undergoing a complicated tension relieving process, they do their job with perfection.
Ready for a new customer, another Revitran leaves Mavi.
