Long term operation with heavy-duty Revitran vibratory conveyors.

The giant General Motors foundry in São José dos Campos, Brazil, operates over 150 meters of heavy-duty Revitran vibratory conveyors continuously since 1982.

These machines were installed in 1982 by a Disa-Wheelabrator Sinto-Mavi consortium along with shot-blasting equipment, continuous castings line, continuous cooling drums and others. Since then, the conveyors are in operation and none has been replaced . During some periods the conveyors worked 3 shifts around the clock.

The rugged construction and easly replaceble wear plates have allowed thes units to keep their perfomance since 1982 and no replacement was or seems to be necessary for the coming years.
