Saint Gobain placed a large screeners order with Mavi, 15 units for charcoal screening. The reforestation charcoal has been adopted as a fine replacement for heavier polluting mineral coal. Brazil is a leader in this field, creating a cleaner and cheaper way to produce cast iron.

The foundry in Rio is the nr 1 manufacturer for city works sewage lids and related products. A Mavi customer since 1962.

All screeners were readied on time for installation in the coming weeks of April 2013. The 15 units will work together receiving a constant flow of large 12 m trucks loaded with charcoal, 7 days a week, in order to separate larger stems which may hamper further charcoal processing.
