A special foundry punch-out application with Revitran SKL resonant vibratory shake-out conveyor has been successful started at Granaço, in Joinville, Brazil. For molds with 3.000 Kg total weight, sands and castings to be separated, it is the heaviest unmolding shake-out build as resonant equipment (low power input) in Latin-America.

The operation started in December 2013 and an average 10-15 seconds are necessary for dismantling each mold. Simultaneously sand and castings are conveyed to a sand-castings separating grate. The 3 tons impact on the pan has been a major concern but Mavi´s expertise helped eliminate the problem with a special set of dampening devices.

The 1.600 x 6.000 mm equipment runs o one single electric motor, the standard type.
