Bad times...

May 2014 probably the worst  month since 2008, only a few new orders, worktime reduction introduced, many Mavi coworkers spending involuntary vaccations.

Nobody fell off the boat, but the sea is quite stormy.

Brazil´s economy is moving away from industrial production. Agrobusiness and intermediate products are the must, imports are booming. Exception is the automobile industry, but largely assembly of cars with imported parts.

Mavi has been going through a rough time. Hopefuly economy recovers in the close future.

For Sibelco Brazil a new limestone screening machine leaving the machine shop this May. But the Brazilian market is not a seller´s market in 2014...
Checking everything before machine is shipped. Mavi quality must be kept, even in bad times.
10 different companies now fight for the Brazilian vibratory drives market. With local production or imported. To keep the standards needed, Mavi is certifying all drives to Atex with TÜV São Paulo.
