Nigerian sugar company orders another set of large sugar screeners

A binational English Nigerian sugar producer has ordered for their 2015 expansion plan a new set of large sugar screeners, for liquids and solids. A quite significant order and the largest sugar screeners ever manufactured by Mavi.

Brazilian made Vibrapen sugar screeners from Mavi have build a solid reputation with African sugar producers, mainly Nigeria and Angola.

Robustly designed machines, easy to maintain and fast technical assistance as well as simplified shipping of replacement parts helped Mavi establish a good relationship with sugar companies in Africa. And around 400 Vibrapen screeers up and running all over Latin America as well as the Caribbean are an important indicator of Brazil´s leadership in heavy vibratory equipment for the sugar industry.

Vibrapen screeners can be ordered in two options: the smaller vibratory motors driven executions and from 1.600 x 5.000 mm upward with the vibratory cell drive, with a cardanic coupled normal electric thre-phase motor up to 55 HP. Or two motors, separetely controllable to better adjust the vibration angle according to the necessary screening efficiency.

The E-4600 vibratory cell from Mavi is the number 1 sold heavy vibratory drive for screeners, feeders and heavy conveyors in Latin America.  This double driven unit allows some vibration angle adjustment for better efficiency.
Simple electric switches and a speed controller are the robust sistem to allow better adjustments of the vibration angle, accelerating or slowing one of the drives.
