Adjustable vibration angle screening machines from Mavi.

For  Goiasa, a larger sugar mill in the state of Goiás, Brazil, Vibrapen screening machines from Mavi are performing well since 2007, because of two improvements regardind the drive and the vibration isolation.

The E-2300 vibratory cell drive, with individually adjustable shaft speed allows a better setting of the required travel speed over the screen mat. If sugar is more or less humid, with the help of a simple control unit with a frequency inverter, the speed can be adjusted. The overall frequency can also be adjusted, if a stronger acceleration is required, to keep the mat openings clean.

By avoiding vibratory drives with integrated electric winding and using regular three phase motors, the standardization has been improved, as specially requested by this company.

The vibration isolation with the help of water filled springs is also a system now adopted by almost all Mavi screen machines operating in sugar mills; in Brazil and Mexico. The adjustable internal pressure, liquid induced dampening and some fine tuning help avoid major vibration transmission to surrounding structures.

A double individually shaft speed controlled drive helps sugar screening be more accurate. Water filled insulation springs keep vibrations away from surrounding structures.
