Fierce competition from Chinese made products and their low prices have made Brazil a privileged place for imports, but apparently this situation has now changed somewhat. Thus the now expensive US-dollar helping Brazilian industry.

Necessary Brazilian certifications in case of Ex-proof drives and new requirements for faster and cheaper technical assistance, as well as a 24 month lasting garanty, have also helped Mavi in better sales of individual Vimot drives.
