Recycling used car batteries with Mavi vibratory feeders

For ERBS in Southern Brazil, Mavi has recently supplied a Revitran  500 x 4.000 mm,  hopper-feeder for used batteries this September 2015. The system is charged with a back-loader and later the car and truck batteries are fed into an electric furnace oven. The speed is controlled by means of a frequency inverter.

Mavi has supplied many of the systems in use in Latin America for this purpose. Revitran feeders and conveyors are known for their reliability and metering precision with fast cuts, when turned off.

Revitran hopper-feeders for furnaces are normally refractory stainless steel lined (AISI 310) when operating with acid batteries.
A very simple excentric drive is a long lasting system to keep downtimes as short as possible.
Since 1974, Revitran feeders and conveyors are the reference for sturdy and long lasting vibratory equipment in Latin America.
