In January 2016, a larger Italian steel producer rewamping an older installation in Latin America placed a 23 extra-heavy feeders seven digit order with Mavi. 

Some Latin American countries with new more "market" oriented governmental programs are apparently making a head-start by investing in modernization of older installations.

Mavi Elmavi feeders are build since 1974 with over 3.000 running in this part of the world, including Argentina, Venezuela and Chile, but mostly Brazil.

They are specially suited for feeding industrial scales for the preparation of mixtures in glass, foundries and steel companies.

Of simple and rugged project, they are used worldwide since the 1930´s.
