The outlook becomes less grim for machine builders

A large Brazilian steel company from Minas Gerais in Brazil placed an order for larger equipment with Mavi, heavy feeders Vical-A type and subsequent horizontal double drive Velopen screens 1.200 x 4.000 mm, for pelletized iron ore.

The plant operates Mavi equipment since the 1970's and is replacing as well as expanding 5 lines.

This turn the company also decided to replace three very old screens from competitors for single drive inclined Velopen 1.400 x 3.500 mm screening machines.

The downturn of the Brazilian Real has somehow inhibited imports from (mainly) China and is helping machine builders to recover, but starting modestly.

Similar Vical feeders, like these for San Juan Cement in Chile will be supplied.
Mavi horizontal screens Velopen type, like these for Vallourec Brazil are also part of the order placed.
As well as inclined Velopen screens, like these for Küttner do Brasil.
