CSN - Brazil with new Vical-A feeders from Mavi.

Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional has recently (Feb. 2016) purchased new Vical-A feeders, with special linings for highly abrasive bulk solids to be discharged from large silos. Capacity is 500 t/h.

Vical-A feeders are of simple and extremely rugged execution. CSN has many of them running without replacement since 1974.

Driven by heavy duty Vimot electromechanical vibrators also from Mavi, the Vical-A feeders are almost a standard among Brazilian and Latin American steel works.

**Vical-A** feeders are suited for outputs up to 2.500 t/h. **Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional** operates units for up to 1.000 t/h pelletized iron ore.

**CSN**, as this company is usually known, has chosen **Mavi** again for the reliability and fast technical assistance, as both companies are partners since 1961.

Special welded linings have been chosen this turn. Steel plates with anti-abrasive welds on top are meticulously placed and welded to the ground pan. Simple replacement is the result.
