Arcelor Mittal from Espírito Santo in Brazil ordered a new pile discharger for coke, being currently assembled at Mavi in São Paulo. Arcelor operates another 4 units of these Vicone pile dischargers, 4.000 mm diameter.

The difference towards older types is the new wear plates system we use. For long lasting operation with highly abrasive coke granules.

Special formed steel plates with weld on deposits of anti-abrasive special steel wire are the choice. Mavi has been using this material for extraordinary wear resistance since 2011.
