Vibratory shake-outs Vigrel from Mavi

Many Brazilian foundries use Vigrel vibratory shake-outs from Mavi mainly because of the rugged and long lasting executions and Mavi´s adaptability to project variations, allowing these machine to suit existing installations.

Shake-outs are primarily used to separate sand from the castings and sometimes help sand to better disintegrate its lumps.

There are constant flow executions (the castings travel over the perforated deck separating the sand which is later reprocessed) or stationary units where large or smaller castings in their boxes are positioned by means of cranes onto the platform and vibration separates sand and iron. For not automated operations or mainly very large castings.

For more on that please contact Mavi.

A very small Vigrel shake-out for aluminum castings, for Teksid, Brazil.
For Hübner, a large foundry in Southern Brazil, a Vigrel constant flow shake-out, 1.500 x 5.500 mm. The machine´s angular position can be adapted to the required output during initial tests.
Driven by 2 Vimot motovibrators from Mavi, this smaller Vigrel unit was delivered to KSB, Brazil. Drives on top, for better access.
Also for KSB in Brazil a Vimot motovibrators driven Vigrel unit for 15 t/h castings and sand. June 2016.
For Frum in Minas Gerais, a larger constant flow unit Vigrel awaiting heavy Vimot drives to be attached and tested, June 2016.
For Romi in Santa Barbara, Brazil, a large vibratory E-4600 cell driven Vigrel constant flow, for automotive parts.
