Revitran atomizing conveyors and Mavicol elevators from Mavi are a modern option for the processing of aluminum powder. Aluminum powder is a product quite common for steel preparation, for paints with metallic aspect, as catalizer in rocket fuel, mining explosives, etc.
Since 1988 Brazil has been in the leadership in developing new techniques for the mass production of aluminum powder from scrap, as this country is the first to recycle 100% of aluminum scrap. Brazil even imports aluminum scrap to recycle the metal.
The Revitran tubular conveyor also known as The Locomotive became the standard equipment after the atomizing station (where molten aluminum is powdered through blasts of compressed air). The powder is collected and conveyed to an additional vibratory Mavicol elevator and cooler, the excess air is exausted to a system of separators and filters.
A simple solution and very effective against complicated static systems with unreliable air-powder separation.
This May 2017 Mavi has delivered another 2 complete Revitran-Mavicol aluminum powder processing units for Altom and Omega in Brazil. Over 10 units are in operation all over Brazil.
