Vibratory feeders

These feeders are intended for applications where material dosing is required. Capacity regulation is controlled from 0 to 100% through a control box. They can be activated dozens of times per hour if necessary.

Drive

VIMAG electromagnetic vibrators are systems of two masses connected together by springs and which, when driven, oscillate in such a way as to take maximum advantage of resonance properties. It should be explained here that resonance occurs when the natural frequency of the oscillating system and the frequency of the driving force (frequency of the AC supply current) are similar, so that amplitude is maximized.

In practice, the natural frequency of the system is tuned 10 to 15% above the drive force frequency, so that so-called subcritical operation is achieved.

This type of operation allows for great stability and low power consumption.

The most important feature of the VIMAG vibrators is that they can be fully regulated through control boxes consisting of a rheostat and a simple electronic circuit. This is done without scaling, which allows, for example, in vibrating chutes, a complete regulation of the hourly capacity.
