Bin Activators

Bin activators or commonly called silo unloaders avoid the need for an operator to hammer out the silo outlet. The blows may deform the surface of the silo, aggravating the problem. They are excellent equipment! to help solve flow problems.

Construction

VICONE® bin activators are of simple construction, with no moving parts that could possibly interfere with the dynamics of the system. This ensures long durability and little maintenance.

They basically consist of six main parts, which are described below:

  1. Storage silo. Normally already installed, not being part of the vibratory mouth itself.
  2. Suspension with rubber springs for vibration isolation. In the VICONE S® type, the suspension occurs between the silo and the discharge mouth. For VICONE D® type, the discharge mouth is suspended on racks or appropriate structures.
  3. Flexible connection and seal between vibrating mouth and silo. (Usually made of rubber).
  4. Vibrating body of the discharge mouth.
  5. Hat for redistribution and optimization of internal pressures in the silo.
  6. VIMOT® vibratory drive.
