Rotopen

Standard vibratory round screeners

The most versatile type of the line. They are driven by a vibrator, when in operation they vibrate around their center of gravity, classifying the materials into up to 5 fractions.

Applications

Thousands of Rotopen sieves are working to sieve products dissolved in liquids such as kaolin clay, paints, glues, gums, ceramic masses, enamels, etc., while others classify sands, feldspar, quartz, silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, bauxite, pigments, epoxy powder paint, synthetic resins, etc.

Rotopen SL vibrating screens are designed to allow the screening of liquids and solids. This means that only a small percentage of grains or impurities will be retained on the screen.

Rotopen SL screens for this reason do not have discharge mouths for coarse residues, and these must be removed from the screen manually, each time the amount of retained material requires it.

Even so, the field of application is very wide, and Rotopen SL sieves are being used for final particle size control of liquid products such as paints, varnishes, ceramic enamels, porcelain paste, glues, starches, juices, syrups, vegetable oils, waste water, and the like.

As for the screening of solid materials, we can mention pharmaceutical products, chemical products, flour, metal powders, mineral salts, etc.

To enable the passage of solid and wet products that normally cannot be screened, Rotopen SL screens can be equipped with a rotating brush or scraper device, whose action combined with vibration forces the material through the meshes.

Operation and construction are similar to the Rotopen screen. Rotopen SL vibrating screens are driven by our own Vimot vibrators, which are mounted at the rear of the machine and are therefore easily accessible for maintenance or repair.

To facilitate the replacement of the screens and the cleaning of the components, both the screen tensioning frame and the collecting bottom are individual parts that will be fixed to the machine body by means of three clamps. The replacement of a torn screen frame with another one requires only half a minute, and even the replacement of a screen in its respective frame will not take more than 15 minutes.

This is all due to our screen fastening system and type of frame construction in which only common wrenches will be used to fasten and tension the screens in the event of a change.
