Rotopen

Standard vibratory round screeners

The most versatile type of the line. They are driven by a vibrator, when in operation they vibrate around their center of gravity, classifying the materials into up to 5 fractions.

Construction

Rotopen® screens can be equipped with one or up to four screen frames, all circular and complemented or not with discharge nozzles. The inlets can be positioned to reach material receivers within a 360° radius.

The collecting bottom with discharge mouth is an individual part and is fixed, along with the frames, to the vibrating drum by means of clamps, thus allowing the quick replacement or cleaning of the components in contact with the material to be screened.

The frames for the screens and the collecting bottom are made of iron or stainless steel plates and profiles, always according to the requirements of the products to be processed. Plastic or rubber seals prevent the propagation of materials in suspension.

The drive consists of a Vimot® vibrator of our manufacture, fully shielded, and can be connected at 220, 380, 440 or 760 Volts, 60 or 50 Hz. The individual characteristics of the chosen drive can be 1150 or 1750 vibrations per minute, in special cases 3500, resulting from the rotation of the eccentric masses. With only 4 screws, the vibrator is fixed to the vibratory drum and is easily accessible for maintenance or repair.

The vibration isolation between the vibrating part and the base is done by means of steel coil springs, so that only insignificant forces will reach the ground or base. Therefore, it is not necessary to attach the screen to the operation site.
