VIBRATORY shake-outs

For casting capacities of up to 60t/h, they are robust to withstand extra-heavy work. They have easy-to-replace oxy-cut grids that allow the separation of sand from castings.

Applications

VIGREL® vibratory demolders are used for emptying molding boxes and breaking up casting cakes while separating sand from castings and core remnants.

All types of demolders consist of five elements, which are: vibration frame, grid, base support, drive vibrators, and isolation springs.

The vibratory frame is equipped with a collection hopper for the demolded sand and a central discharge mouth. The grate made of flat bars, angle bars and round iron is bolted to the vibratory frame and can be replaced in a few minutes if worn. The VIMOT® vibrators are affixed to the vibratory frame by four screws each, making quick replacement possible. These vibrators are fully shielded and maintenance is reduced to periodic lubrication of the bearings.

There are therefore two types of demolders, a stationary one on which the molds are deposited and emptied, and the parts must be removed manually. The self-discharging demolder, on the other hand, removes the castings automatically through linear vibration that forces them to walk on the grid until discharge.

The diagrams above allow you to follow the demolding process of the stationary process in three steps: 1.the deposition, 2.the demolding and removal from the box, 3.the removal of the parts.
The same is true here, with only the automatic removal of the parts in 3.b.
