The Separapen sieve is designed for the sieving of granular products and the simultaneous separation of powders (impurities) by means of exhaust.
Its most frequent use is in the processing of foundry sand, especially furan sand (synthetic), from which the fine dust must be eliminated so as not to harm the mold preparation.
The sieve is equipped with a longitudinally tensioned screen, the tension of which can be adjusted with screws. The construction is closed, and to avoid turbulence inside the sieve due to exhaustion, conductive ducts are installed that stabilize the air by arranging it in layers.
The vibratory drive is established by 2 self-synchronizing, splash-proof VIMOT vibrators of our manufacture.
The product is distributed and separated by the screen. The passing part forms a kind of homogeneous curtain from which, through exhaustion, the impurities are removed. Usually in the form of fine powders, they can have different consistencies, which implies in regulating the exhaustion speed. In the case of heavy particles, for example, it would then be necessary to increase the exhaustion speed and vice versa.
