VIBRATORY FEEDERS

They have similar characteristics to the traditional Elmavi but their electrical configuration allows for a quieter operation. They are only used for low capacities.

Drive

The drive is made by the new 30Hz electromagnetic vibrators VIMAG.

The system basically consists of two masses connected to each other by springs and which, when driven, oscillate so as to take maximum advantage of the resonance properties. An alternating current electromagnet, arranged at the base of the VIMAG vibrator, attracts the counter-core, which in turn is connected to flat fiberglass springs made of fiberglass fabric pressed with expoxy resin, and the edges are protected with celeron strips, which prevent contact between the electromagnet and the counter-core, making the system oscillate.

The oscillation of the system is in the order of 1.2mm to 2.5mm at 1800vpm.

Notably, the most important property of the VIMAG vibrators is their full possibility of regulation from 0-100% by manual electronic control boxes, or by 4-20mA signal.

The regulation is done continuously, which allows in the vibratory chutes, for example, a total regulation of the hourly capacity, or even a total stop.

Another significant advantage is the low noise level, approximately 70dBA at 1m distance.
