Vimot em tubos, silos e depósitos

Vibrators for silos, deposits and ducts.

Use VIMOT vibrators to provide a good flow of material in silos, deposits and ducts

Fixing

In normal cylindrical or rectangular silos, the vibrators should be mounted at 1/3 of the height of the E-gear of the outlet cone. If one vibrator is not sufficient, a larger capacity model can be chosen, or another vibrator can be fixed in a diametrically opposite position.

Flat-bottomed silos or bins, rectangular or circular in shape, produce their own outflow cone when unloaded. This cone has its inclination given by the angle of repose of the contained material. By mounting the vibrators in the region of the intercession of the silo wall with the cone formed by the material, we can reduce the angle of repose of the material facilitating its flow.

In the silo with inclined discharge tubular mouth, the vibrator should be affixed just above the beginning of the discharge pipe, at the end of the outlet cone.

Silos with a double outlet cone should have the vibrator mounted on a connection between the two. The type of vibrator should be determined by the volume of both cones. The interconnection connection should be at 1/3 of the height of the E-generators.

Tanks or silos with a vertical wall should be provided with the vibrator at one third of the height of the inclined wall opposite the vertical wall.

Concrete silos or bins cannot be activated directly. The solution is to install a metal plate inside the wall to which the vibrator is fixed. For this it is necessary to drill through the wall of the silo. The attachment also takes place at 1/3 of the E-gauge.

Tubes that are not steep enough to allow flow by weight can be vibrated to facilitate this flow.

It is important to attach the vibrator to the bottom of the pipe, so that it receives the greatest vibration. One vibrator every 5 m of pipe is usually enough. The first one should preferably be affixed 0.6 m from the discharge.

These guidelines are also valid for inclined ramps.
